Three people have been injured in a crash on Auckland’s Northern Motorway, one seriously.

The motorway was closed between Constellation Drive and Tristram Ave, but has since reopened.

Emergency services were called to the northbound lanes around 5am after a report of a two-vehicle crash, Police said.

Hato Hone St John told the Herald it was called to the accident just before 5am.

Three people were taken to hospital, one in a serious condition and two others with moderate to minor injuries.
