Audacy is bringing its annual “We Can Survive” concert to New York for the first time, with Megan Moroney, Michelle Branch, Bebe Rexha and Ashe set to headline the Oct. 28 event at UBS Arena in Belmont Park.

Presented by VEG, ER for Pets, the 13th annual concert will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and support Audacy’s “I’m Listening” mental health initiative. The year-round initiative encourages open conversations about mental health and connects audiences with resources and organizations that provide support.

The event will be hosted by Audacy hot AC “New 102.7 FM” WNEW-FM in New York and will feature station personalities including Karen Carson, Johnny Mingione, Anthony Malerba, Emily West, Mike Adam and Bru.

“I’m so excited to perform at We Can Survive and support Audacy’s ‘I’m Listening’ initiative,” Rexha said. “Music has always been about connection for me, and I love that this event brings people together while helping remind anyone who may be struggling that they’re not alone.”

Audacy SVP of Promotions and Experiences Chad Fitzsimmons said the move to UBS Arena represents a new chapter for the annual event, which has brought together artists and fans for 13 years in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

“Music has an incredible ability to bring people together, create connection and remind us that none of us are alone,” Fitzsimmons said. “That’s what makes We Can Survive so meaningful.”

Mark Shulman, EVP of Programming and Content at Oak View Group, which operates UBS Arena, said the venue is looking forward to hosting the concert and supporting its charitable mission.

A portion of proceeds will go to AFSP, Audacy’s longtime “I’m Listening” partner. The organization’s work includes suicide prevention education, loss support, advocacy and community-based programs. Its “Talk Away the Dark” public service campaign focuses on recognizing suicide warning signs and encouraging conversations that can connect people with help.

“We Can Survive” is an extension of Audacy’s “I’m Listening” initiative, which includes an annual broadcast special, radio programming, digital content and partnerships with mental health organizations.

Hard Rock International is also partnering with the event and will donate $25,000 to support Audacy’s ongoing mental health efforts.
