TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Local artists are getting a chance to showcase their work in a new exhibit in Terre Haute.
Arts Illiana is hosting “Full Moon Harvest.”
The exhibit features artwork from Vigo County students.
The exhibits give students a chance to display their work to be celebrated by the community.
Trevor Bridgewater, gallery manager, said the exhibit gives students an opportunity to display their work in a professional space.
“They’re the future. They’re the future of the arts. We want to give them a space where they have an opportunity to see their work in a professional space and then that gives them the motivation to keep doing that,” Bridgewater said.
The exhibit can be seen October 2 through the 31.
The opening reception is from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
