Police are appealing for help identifying a mystery woman found in central Auckland after concerns were raised about her welfare.

A spokesperson said officers were notified about the woman on Monday, and she was taken to Auckland City Hospital.

However, after exhausting all lines of inquiry to identify her,
they were forced to make a public appeal to help reunite her with family.

The woman is estimated to be her late 30s to mid 40s, but despite consulting several community organisations and agencies, have no idea of her name or where she lives.

Police believe she may be known to people in Auckland’s CBD and are focused on reuniting her with her family, as well as ensuring she has appropriate support networks.
