Ahead of the launch of As Ever’s first advent calendar later today, Meghan Markle shared behind-the-scenes clips of the planning process, footage from over the summer which featured Compartés Creative Director Jonathan Grahm.
In the Instagram story, set to Michael Bublé’s cover of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” Meghan and Grahm are driving in a golf cart as the words “Christmas planning in June” are visible on the video. Then the footage flashes to a rending of the calendar with the text “85 sleeps til Christmas… Asever.com” before the series ends with a video of Meghan and Prince Harry’s dog, Pula, carrying what appears to be an As Ever dog toy.

The inclusion of the toy—which is a plush version of the brand’s raspberry spread—could be a hint at further holiday offerings to come from As Ever, but the brand has yet to reveal what other products are planned for the holiday season outside of the advent calendar.
An extension into dog products would make sense; Meghan has long loved dogs and supported dog rescue charities. The Sussexes currently have two dogs, who moved with them from California to the UK: Pula, a black Labrador who they adopted in 2018 (named after the Botswana word for rain in the Bantu language of Setswana) and Mamma Mia, a beagle they rescued in August 2022. Meghan’s rescue beagle Guy passed away in early 2025.
When As Ever was first called American Riviera Orchard, an extended part of the trademark application revealed that the brand could sell pet accessories, among other categories. Plus, in an episode of With Love, Meghan, Meghan makes her friend Delfina Blaquier homemade dog biscuits. That episode was filmed around the same time she was sending her friends American Riviera Orchard-branded strawberry jam.

Pula was spotted in Meghan’s recent post about their life in the UK.
“I tell you what, we all need a dog that keeps us calm,” Harry said in October 2022 of the Sussex family dogs. He continued, “They charge around chasing squirrels and causing all sorts of problems to us every single day. But they are also emotional, emotional support dogs 100% when they’re behaving.”
