Mustafa Burmawala returns to the big screen with Abbas-Mustan’s thriller 3 Monkeys, marking his return in a new avatar. Mustafa Burmawala, who has been part of films such as Players, Race and Machine, is back in action. He will soon be seen in a different avatar on the big screen with 3 Monkeys. The thriller has been directed by filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan. The makers recently gave audiences the first glimpse of the film by unveiling its first poster and teaser on social media. Mustafa plays Akbar, while Vishal Jethwa plays Amar and Tenzin Dalha plays Anthony. The film’s promotional campaign takes inspiration from the popular philosophy of “Bura Mat Dekho, Bura Mat Suno, Bura Mat Bolo.” However, 3 Monkeys gives the idea a modern twist with the new mantra, “Sab Dekho. Apni Suno. Bekhauf Bolo.”While the posters have introduced the three central characters, the makers have not revealed much about the actual story. The mystery surrounding Amar, Akbar and Anthony has only deepened after the motion poster, leaving viewers wondering what exactly the trio are up to. Are they planning a robbery or a heist, or is there something bigger behind their actions? The film is expected to keep its thriller elements under wraps until its release. 3 Monkeys is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on December 4, 2026.
