“The philosophy for Eleven Thirty Three is simple: great wine deserves great food, and that’s what we will be offering. It will be a place where people can eat well, slow down and enjoy the best hospitality in the region,” said Logan.
Owned and operated by experienced restaurateur John Logan, Eleven Thirty Three will offer diners the opportunity to enjoy the very best of Hawke’s Bay’s seasonal produce.
With over three decades in hospitality, Logan has had senior roles at some of the country’s most respected venues, including O Connell Street Bistro, Craggy Range, Huka Lodge, Mister D. and in Australia at such venues as Gimlet and Lakehouse Daylesford. He will be supported in the kitchen by head chef Tom Cotterell, with the brasserie offering comfortable seating for up to 80 guests. Its spacious setting and exceptional hospitality will also make it an ideal venue for private functions, celebrations, and special events.
“For me it was love at first sight when I saw the new space at Pask. I knew it had to be the next venture for Tickbox Hospitality,” said Logan
A redevelopment of the winery, tasting room and restaurant commenced in 2020 and opened in July 2024. “We were never in a rush to fill the restaurant space. For us, it was about finding the right partner who had an aligned passion for delivering excellence and quality,” said Toni Butcher, General Manager, Benton Wine Group.
Drawing on European influences, the restaurant will celebrate the region’s outstanding provenance, bringing together locally grown ingredients, exceptional wines, and a relaxed brasserie-style dining experience.
The setting draws on French elegance and New Zealand wine culture, with rich blues, brass accents, lush tropical landscaping, and hidden doors creating a sense of discovery.
Looking out the large glass windows, you will be able to dine and watch a working winery in action, making this a truly exceptional dining experience.
Eleven Thirty Three opened at Pask Winery on October 1.
You can savour beautiful wines from Pask and sister winery Jackson Estate, by the bottle or the glass, including an extensive Library list, along with in-house cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks. Pask Winery’s maiden vintage was a 1985 Cabernet Sauvignon, and this year it received a gold award (95 points) at the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards for their 2021 Gimbett Gravels Merlot.
“The addition of brasserie Eleven Thirty Three to our offering is just what the area and region needed. A place where people can come and experience the best of our wines alongside quality, affordable food,” said Toni Butcher, General Manager, Benton Wine Group
If you have not visited Pask lately, you might not realise so much has changed. The state-of-the-art cellar door on Omahu Road is one of the most impressive in the region. Eleven Thirty Three is set to become a genuine destination not to be missed.
