Amazon’s big October Prime Day extravaganza has returned for another year, bringing with it the best Apple Prime Day deals. Earlier this summer, Apple bumped up the price of its MacBooks and iPads, with iPhones and even Apple Watches getting a price hike last month when the tech giant launched the iPhone 18 Pro.
Thankfully, Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale (still a mouthful) is here, and there are plenty of deals to be found when it comes to tech from Apple. I’ve been tracking Prime Day deals for an entire decade, so I know what’s worth your dosh. Right now, the biggest savings can be found on last year’s Apple Watch Series 11 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
The two-day blitz of deals is exclusively for Amazon Prime subscribers, so you’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription if you want to save. Amazon Prime Day lasts until 7 October, and your trusty deal hunters here at The Independent will be sniffing out the biggest savings on everything from dehumidifiers and heated clothes airers to Kindles and more. Apple Watch Series 11
If you’re hunting down a new smartwatch, then Amazon has slashed the price of last year’s Apple Watch Series 11 by a huge £60. Called the sleekest watch out of the bunch by tech critic David Phelan, it has the most versatile looks: equally suited to a workout at the gym and a dressy evening out. “It has almost all the features and capabilities of Ultra 3, lacking the useful action button and satellite connection but little else,” he said in his Apple Watch Series 11 review. “For me, this is the Goldilocks Apple Watch, and the Series 11 is easily the best iteration yet.”
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, 256 GB
As is tradition with Apple when it launches its new iPhones, the predecessor drops in price. When tech critic David Phelan put the handset through its paces in his iPhone 17 review, he highlighted its “superfast performance” and impressive battery life. Today, the 256GB device is reduced by £100, which puts it at the same price as competitor retailers John Lewis, Very and Currys. However, Amazon is offering an additional £32.98 discount when you reach the checkout and this deal isn’t exclusive to Prime customers, so everyone can take advantage.
Apple Macbook Pro M5, 16.2in
Released in the latter half of 2025, the Apple MacBook Pro M5 is the brand’s most up-to-date model and, according to tech expert David Phelan in his MacBook Pro M5 review, “it can handle demanding tasks with no problem.” Specifically, it’s engineered to tackle an increasing demand for AI workloads, thanks to Apple’s fastest CPU core. The laptop is reduced by 10 per cent at Amazon right now, but it’s price matched at the likes of John Lewis, AO and more – so it might be worth checking for the best warranty deal across the board.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
For those who want a rugged smartwatch, perfect for hikes, extreme sports and diving, then Amazon’s slashed the price of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 with both GPS and cellular connectivity by £80. “If you want the biggest display, longest battery life and a convenient extra button, it’s worth spending the extra money on the Apple Watch Ultra 3,” said David Phelan in his Apple Watch Ultra 3 review. “It’s the most powerful and effective Watch, not least thanks to its new display tech and important extras like satellite connectivity.”
