After a few days taking in the news, the couple are beginning to make plans for their future.
“We’ll make sure our children are set up, and we’ve always wanted to retire somewhere near the beach, so this will help us to do that,” the woman said.
“We’re not extravagant people so we’re not looking for anything flash – just somewhere our family can come and be together.”

“I need a new phone, so that’s first on the list. Then who knows – maybe a gold-plated toothbrush.”
His wife added: “He told me he might go out and buy a gold Rolex, so I reminded him that he doesn’t even wear a watch.
“I have been looking at the price of steak a little differently since we won, though. We might even treat ourselves to fillet instead of rump next time we go grocery shopping.”
The couple are planning to keep their win quiet for now.
“Mum’s the word until we’ve got our own heads around it, and after that we’ll tell our children.”
