According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a reported armed robbery on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood at about 9.05pm on Thursday. Investigators said the victim told officers he was approached by two men dressed in black clothing.
Police said one suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim while the other brandished a knife and demanded his watch and bracelet. During the robbery, one of the suspects allegedly struck the victim in the face with the handgun, causing a laceration to his forehead.
The suspects then fled with the watch in an unknown vehicle. Authorities have not announced any arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In the video’s caption, Allen criticised safety in West Hollywood and tagged Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom.
“West Hollywood is not safe anymore. Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight. My life for a watch.”
Emergency services assessed Allen at the scene, but he was not taken to hospital. However, he later told followers in the comments section that he decided to seek medical attention after realising he was “definitely concussed”.
Allen starred in all seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars between 2010 and 2017. He has also appeared in Walker and, more recently, The Rookie.
