There are some members of the royal family you can practically set your watch by. The likes of King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton are virtually guaranteed to pop up at some event or other a few times a week at least. But then there are the other, more elusive royal family members—the non-working royals who turn up for a more select number of public events. Royals like Lady Helen Taylor, the daughter of Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, who was spotted with her two sons, Cassius and Columbus, at the Frieze Art Fair 2026 VIP Preview in London last night.

Lady Helen looked appropriately artful for the event, wearing an all-black ensemble accented with a black and white check scarf. Her sons both iterated on suits, with Columbus mimicking his mother’s pared-back black and white and Cassius opting for shades of grey, in a charcoal car coat over slate grey slacks and a blue shirt with contrast detailing.

The trio have a strong connection to the art world. Helen herself worked in the contemporary department of Christie’s as well as at an art gallery in the ‘80s and early ‘90s before marrying her husband, art dealer Timothy Taylor. Columbus, who is the eldest of Helen and Timothy’s four children, works for his father’s eponymous art gallery. Cassius, meanwhile, studied Arts Management at Goldsmiths university in London before co-founding the events consulting firm Telltale in 2022. The jack-of-all-trades also works as a DJ, using the handle Noon Goon on Soundcloud.
