Forms of art at the exhibit include paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, textiles and film, with several of the artists from Hull and the surrounding area.
Some of the pieces will be on sale and there will be free 10-minute talks from the artists as part of the exhibit.
Artwork for the Young Artist Open Exhibition was submitted by individuals, schools and local community groups.
Jackie Dad, deputy leader and portfolio holder for culture at Hull City Council said: “This year the panel of judges have selected a diverse range of works, resulting in a captivating exhibition.”
The gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30 BST and on Sundays from 11:00 to 16:00.
