The Herald is told that last night, guests at The Duke of Marlborough in the Bay of Islands were treated to a surprise concert in the main bar.
Around 30 locals in attendance showed respect by not photographing Bieber.
“You had to walk past the piano to be able to see him,” one source told the Herald.
It is understood Bieber and his crew also shouted a few rounds at The Duke.
The group are also said to have vistited luxury clay bird shooting venue, The Range.
In addition to a Tara Iti golfing trip on Wednesday, the group had also been playing golf at Kauri Cliffs yesterday and are understood to have stayed at The Landing.

However, Te Arai Golf Club has been tight-lipped about Bieber’s appearance on the course.
Famous names would never cross the lips of Jim Rohrstaff, managing partner of Te Arai Links and board member of Tara Iti.
“I could name celebrities, but we certainly don’t,” Rohrstaff told OneRoof.
“We respect everyone who visits privacy.”

Bieber, originally from Canada, was last spotted in New Zealand in January 2025, with sightings in Queenstown and Arrowtown.
At the time, a source told the Herald that Bieber was understood to be in the area to attend the wedding of Kiwi model Maia Cotton and American venture capitalist Max Feldstein.
Bieber then released his seventh 21-track studio album, Swag, in July 2025.
The album was subsequently re-released as a double album in September.
This year, Bieber performed a headline set at the Coachella Music Festival, held in California in April.
