One man has been injured, and two people have been arrested, after an alleged aggravated robbery at a Hastings home.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to a residential property on Avenue Rd East about 1am on Wednesday.

The spokeswoman said a man had been “invited to an
address” in the early hours of the morning.

When he arrived, he was threatened with weapons and his belongings were taken by those at the address, she said.

Police found the man near the scene with injuries and cordons were then set up to look for an offender, she said.
