Rise and Fall Season 2 witnesses historic second Takhta Palat as Workers take over the Penthouse

Gautam Gulati’s decision changes the game as Workers defeat the Rulers, take control of the Penthouse and increase their prize pot to ₹22.4 lakh

The power dynamics inside the Tower have taken a dramatic turn in Rise and Fall Season 2, with the show witnessing a historic second Takhta Palat in the same season. In a major twist, the Workers have successfully taken over the Penthouse, sending the former Rulers straight to the Basement and changing the course of the game.

The episode saw tensions escalating between the Rulers and Workers as questions were raised over Jashwanth Bopanna’s decisions as supervisor. Meanwhile, Ultimate Ruler Gautam Gulati appeared to be favouring the Workers, leaving contestants questioning his strategy and intentions.

The growing tensions also led to heated exchanges between Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Gautam. Priyanka confronted him over his immunity, saying, “Cheater, tumhari jo chaud aati hai na immunity ki na sabko dikh raha hai.” Meanwhile, Swara Bhasker’s attempt to push Karan Patel into action resulted in a sharp response. Karan’s appreciation of Jashwanth as a sportsperson also drew a pointed remark from Priyanka, with Niharika Tiwari joining the ongoing arguments.

However, the biggest twist came during the final nectar count, which sparked a disagreement between Jashwanth and Shehzad Poonawalla. While Jashwanth disqualified 20 drops and brought the total down to 48, Shehzad insisted that the count stood at 68. With both sides refusing to agree, the final decision rested with Gautam.

In a game-changing move, Gautam ruled in favour of the 68-drop count and declared the Workers victorious. This resulted in the second Takhta Palat of the season, making it a historic moment for the reality show. The Workers stormed the Penthouse and took over from the former Rulers, who were sent to the Basement.

Following the dramatic takeover, the Workers’ prize pot increased to ₹22.4 lakh, while the new Rulers began their reign with ₹12.55 lakh. The shift in power also brought changes to relationships inside the Tower. Manish Kashyap’s unexpected thank-you to Gautam surprised the contestants, while Karan assured Niharika and Priyanka that he held no grudges. Shehzad also apologised to Gautam, hinting at changing equations and possible new alliances.

The next morning brought fresh developments as the Rulers predicted that Priyanka might regret participating in the show. Meanwhile, the newly appointed Workers wasted no time planning their next move. Shehzad and Gautam were already strategising to keep Manish away from the Ultimate Ruler race.

With alliances shifting, rivalries intensifying and the power equation changing once again, the competition inside the Tower is getting tougher. Who will emerge as the season’s final Ultimate Ruler and secure a place in the grand finale remains to be seen.
