The U.S.S. Enterprise set a course for NYCC 2025 this weekend with an extended first look at the fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. In the clip, Captain Pike (Anson Mount) and his crew navigate a massive stellar storm. Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding) detects a mayday, which Spock (Ethan Peck) clarifies is from a buoy within said storm. Pike orders Ortegas (Melissa Navia) to take them toward the buoy.
Unfortunately, the storm overtakes the ship, sending it into a warp field. With Enterprise down for the count, Pike sends La’an (Christina Chong), Number One (Rebecca Romijn) and Ortegas on a shuttle to the nearest M-class planet with iridium. Side note: I’m excited that we’re getting another Vulcan Starfleet officer aboard the Enterprise.
