Police said emergency services were called to the crash just before 7pm yesterday.

Seven people have been injured in a crash north of Whangārei.

Police said emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on Puhipuhi Rd, Whakapara, just before 7pm yesterday.

Hato Hone St John said seven people were treated at the scene and five were taken to Whangārei Hospital, three in
a serious condition.
