With their mission complete on home soil, Hull KR now turn their attention to Vegas and the chance to create more history at Allegiant Stadium next February.
Coached by Australian Willie Peters and led up front by former Rooster Jared Waerea-Hargreaves in his final match, the Robins outclassed perennial superpower Wigan to win the Super League grand final 24-6 at Old Trafford.
Hull KR ran in four tries to one in the decider to add the SL title to the Challenge Cup and League Leaders Shield that they collected earlier in the season.
It is now 138 days until Hull KR line up against Leeds as part of Rugby League Las Vegas 2026 and they will arrive on an absolute high after a remarkable year under Peters.

The 46-year-old has enhanced his reputation as one of the game’s sharpest minds as he now prepares to join Kevin Walters’ Kangaroos’ coaching team for the upcoming Ashes series, where his intimate knowledge of the England players will be a massive factor.
In his first year at the helm in 2023, Peters took Hull KR to the Challenge Cup where they lost to Leigh in golden point.
They made the SL grand final the following year but fell victim to a Bevan French masterclass as Wigan prevailed 9-2 at Old Trafford.
The arrival of Waerea-Hargreaves and Rhyse Martin in 2025 complemented an already strong squad and the silverware started piling up in June when Hull KR downed Warrington 8-6 at Wembley in the Challenge Cup final.
JWH and Victor Radley soak up the Roosters’ 2018 premiership success.
The League Leaders Shield followed for finishing atop the table at the end of the regular season and the grand final victory etched their name alongside Bradford Bulls (2003), St Helens (2006), Leeds Rhinos (2015) and Wigan (2024) as clubs to complete the coveted treble.
For Waerea-Hargreaves, the grand final success put the exclamation mark on a glittering career that included two premierships at the Roosters, 33 Tests for New Zealand and 316 NRL games across 17 seasons.
“What a feeling. I’m doing it for my kids, to be able to see Dad and be proud of what he does,” the enforcer said post-match.
“I absolutely love what I do, it has been an amazing journey.
“I’ve been fortunate to play in Sydney for many years but to come to such a great club and deliver a premiership, it’s all these people deserve, they have been through everything.
“I’m happy for them and I’m just soaking it all up, it’s all over.”
And while JWH puts his feet up and enjoys a well-earned break, his Hull KR teammates turn their eyes to Vegas and the chance to be part of another memorable occasion.
