Brisbane trainer Rob Heathcote has expressed his disappointment in Luke Nolen‘s ride on old warrior Rothfire in the Group 1 Moir Stakes on Saturday at The Valley.

On the flip side, his fellow Brisbane trainers Tony Gollan and Corey Munce are delighted with the performances of Golden Boom and Payline, who finished fourth and fifth respectively in the $750,000 sprint over 1000m won by Baraqiel.

Rothfire and Payline will next head to the $2m Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) at The Valley on September 26 while Golden Boom is likely to run in the $300,000 Group 2 Schillaci Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on October 11.
