Receiver Matthew Golden gaining confidence in the Packers’ offense
Green Bay Packers receiver Matthew Golden talks about his career day with 86 receiving yards on three receptions.
Green Bay Packers radio broadcasts in Milwaukee will soon no longer air on 97.3 The Game, a station that changed from its sports-talk format to adult contemporary music as of Oct. 13.
With a new home needed for Packers and Wisconsin Badgers broadcasts that had aired on the station, they’ll move to 95.7 BIG FM (WRIT) in the Milwaukee market.
There are no other changes around the state on the Packers radio network.
For each of the next two weeks, when the Packers meet the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers, the games will still air on 97.3 as a temporary measure to get listeners accustomed to the switch, according to a release from the team.
Nothing will change about the broadcast itself, with Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren still broadcasting from the booth for a 27th consecutive season. Pregame, in-game and postgame personalities will also remain the same.
Fans can consult packers.com/video/radio-network to determine their nearest Packers network affiliate; 54 stations carry games throughout Wisconsin and in areas of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
