Paris Fury said “we’re done” as she opened up on her marriage to Tyson.
The reality TV star appeared on ITV’s This Morning on Thursday (October 16), where she spoke to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about the new series of At Home With The Furys.
The first season of the Netflix documentary, which premiered in 2023, gave viewers an intimate look into the life of Tyson Fury and his family.
The series documented Tyson’s transition from the boxing ring to retirement, featuring Paris, his father John, and their seven children.
During her appearance on today’s This Morning, Paris discussed Tyson’s struggles during the first series, explaining: “I think it was because Tyson was busy with his career,” reports OK!
“He was boxing at the time, he was organising fights and going into camp. They couldn’t have the cameras in camp. It became like a chore and a difficulty.
“Whereas, this time, he’s got all the time to balance it and enjoy it. Tyson can be a child. You can say, ‘Right, we need to be here at this now,’ and he’d be like, ‘No, no, no, I’m busy, I can’t do it.’ But now, he’s enjoying the process.”
Paris also provided an update on their marriage, confirming that they are not planning any more vow renewal ceremonies. The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, have already had three renewal ceremonies.
“No, we’re done. We maxed out at three. Third time’s a charm,” Paris declared.
“We got married, obviously, when I was eighteen, when we were young. We had a giant, big family wedding. Then we renewed our vows for personal reasons, just me and him in New York years ago. And then this time, he asked me, ‘Should we renew our vows?'”
She continued: “So many of my friends have made fun of me. They were like, ‘Oh yeah, getting married again,’ but I enjoy it and I actually feel like it relights that little flame of we love each other, we’re gonna get married again.”
Paris then expressed her joy at involving her children in the special ceremony, although her eldest daughter, Venezuela, had her reservations.
“It was beautiful to have the kids involved, because the girls got to be flower girls. The only one who wasn’t keen was Venezuela. She was a bit like, ‘Come on now, you’re a bit old for this,'” she elaborated.
Ben then added, “It’s lovely that you could share that moment with them, as well.”
At Home With The Furys is available to stream on Netflix, while This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 at 10am
