Inside Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s ‘very close’ relationship 8 years after split amid rumors exes are back together

ROB Kardashian and Blac Chyna have developed a much tighter bond, despite their tumultuous past, a source exclusively revealed to The U.S. Sun.

The exes parted ways for good in February 2017 – three months after they welcomed their daughter, Dream Kardashian.

Fans of the pair would recall their turbulent on-and-off relationship during their year-long whirlwind romance, which included an engagement and multiple public fights.

However, eight years later, the duo is on significantly better terms, with Chyna, 37—also known by her birth name, Angela White—becoming a supportive friend and a shoulder for Rob, 38, to lean on, according to an insider.

“Despite years of fighting, public showdowns, and custody battles, these two have both mellowed out so much over the years and are now back on friendly terms co-parenting,” the source exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

They also noted that the rapper frequently visits their daughter, whom Rob and Chyna split 50/50 joint custody, despite fans’ previous concerns that Dream is regularly in the care of Rob’s sister, Khloe Kardashian.

“[Chyna] is a very frequent visitor to spend time with [her] daughter Dream and has become recluse Rob’s confidante and lifeline.

“She’s the one person, outside of the family circle, that he’s most comfortable with – and it’s been great for him to have someone outside of the family too,” the insider revealed.

SEXY PHOTOSHOOT

The source’s comments were also geared toward Chyna’s Instagram post earlier this week, in which the model shared a slew of sexy images of herself from a photoshoot and a sweet message to Rob in the caption.

In the pics, Chyna posed in a skintight white lace corset, tiny white shorts, and matching boots.

She wore a full face of makeup, and her blonde locks fell straight down.

The socialite was captured leaning against a white Lamborghini on the side of a dusty, deserted roadway, and perched on a white rolling suitcase before a gorgeous mountain view.

Chyna gave a nod to her ex in the caption, writing, “This love is forever,” with an infinity symbol emoji and tagging Rob.

Fans questioned in the comments whether Chyna teased that she and Rob were back together after nearly a decade apart.

However, the insider seemingly hinted that that wasn’t the case, especially without Kar-Jenner momager, Kris Jenner’s stamp of approval.

“When crazy off-the-wall things like that suddenly appear, you know that Kris Jenner is someone there as the puppet master. It could all be part of a storyline for the show,” they assured.

GRUELING COURT BATTLE

It’s no secret that Kris and Chyna haven’t been on the same side for a while, as they faced off in a $100million lawsuit filed by the beauty mogul, claiming the momager and her daughters intentionally interfered with her former E! contract regarding her and Rob’s short-lived reality series Rob & Chyna.

The show was axed after one season following Rob & Chyna’s split, but the latter insisted she missed out on millions because Kris pulled the plug.

Kris opened up about the two-week-long trial and how “draining” it was during a September 2022 episode of The Kardashians.

“As a mom, I’m very protective of my kids, and on top of that, it’s really draining,” the reality star admitted in a confessional interview.

“It’s emotionally, physically, and spiritually exhausting to be going through this.”

The Kar-Jenner clan ultimately won the case, but it appears Chyna has at least been able to mend her relationship with Rob.

PERSONAL GROWTH

Rob has primarily refrained from the spotlight since ending his reality TV run with Chyna, and even bowed out of the last few seasons of his family’s former show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which ended in 2021.

He’s largely maintained his privacy even with their reboot series, The Kardashians; however, he resurfaced in the trailer for Season 7, premiering later this month.

Chyna has also changed her tune, completely revamping her public image and reverting to her natural appearance.

In March 2023, the TV star revealed she went under the knife to remove her butt injections and breast implants and encouraged her 16.5million Instagram followers not to undergo injections due to their potentially harmful side effects.

Chyna also called herself by her birth name, wiping away the stage moniker most fans know her by, seemingly in an effort to start fresh.

Shortly before, the Washington D.C. native announced her plans to further her make-under, which included removing her face fillers after confessing that she overdid it with her cosmetic procedures.

Aside from her efforts to reclaim her natural beauty, Chyna appears to be devoting much of her time to her two children.

In addition to Dream, Chyna is a mother to a son, King Cairo, with her ex, rapper Tyga.

On Thursday, the TV personality shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram of her eldest son in honor of his 13th birthday.

Many of the pics included King smiling alongside his younger sister.

Dream also recently made her runway modeling debut at the Indie Fashion Show in New York City.

Chyna filmed the youngster, who sported a blue dress and her hair in a curly updo, and cheered her on from the sidelines.
