Serious two-vehicle crash closes road in Feilding

Emergency services including police and a St John helicopter are responding to a serious two-vehicle crash in Feilding this afternoon.

Police were called to the scene on Halcombe Rd, near Mt Taylor Drive at around 2.30pm.

St John told 1News it sent one ambulance, one helicopter and one rapid response unit to the scene.

Crews were not required for transportation.

The road was due to be closed, with diversions in place.

“Motorists should avoid the area,” a police spokesperson said.
