Race 1 – Group 3 Reginald Allen Quality (1400m)

Panova pounces in the opener at Randwick and takes the G3 Reginald Allen Quality to get the day off on a winning note for @cwallerracing and @TommyBerry21! 🙌@B2BThoroughbred@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/5vjdyS1r6F

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – PANOVA (Tommy Berry) I wasn’t surprised by that. I was worried coming into the meeting that it would be too firm with them not getting as much rain as they expected last night, with the strong winds. But it showed they did all the right work at the start of the week because that is the best track you will walk in anywhere in the world. It just had a beautiful bit of cushion and because it’s not an overly hot day that should hang around for the remainder. A very good win by this filly, she’s been building up to this. She’s going to get over a lot further than 1400m and getting to a big track like Randwick was key to her winning today.

2nd – SAMARELLE (Zac Lloyd) She went really well. I think 1400m will be short of her best so for her to do that was a good stepping stone.

3rd – CHATTERLEY (James McDonald) She has gone really well. Didn’t have a lot of luck at the 400m. She would have run close.

4th – PROFOUNDLY (Dylan Gibbons) Super run. Once she gets out over further, you will see a better filly again.

5th – KAKADU SUNSET (Tim Clark) I thought it was a good honest effort from her.

6th – LIGHTHOUSE LASS (Michael Dee) Nice effort. She is still very immature but once she puts it all together, she will be winning races.

7th – MILES OF GLORY (Kerrin McEvoy) I thought she ran well. She will be improved by maybe a little bit further and will be better again in the Autumn as well.

8th – LADY PANKHURST (Rachel King) Just had to do too much work from out wide. Cost her that last 100m.”

9th – SNITZEL DANCER (Jay Ford) She began well. I committed to going forward and she was made to earn her spot. She was vulnerable late.

10th – FULLALOVE (Jason Collett) Tough run from the gate. Pressure early too so it told late.

11th – EMALYN (Ashley Morgan) Just fired up a bit today. She will be OK. Just next prep.

Race 2 – Group 3 St Leger Stakes (2600m)

🕺 Travolta stays alive in a thrilling finish to the G3 St Leger Stakes – and that’s the first 5 across the line to @cwallerracing! @ZacLloydx@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/gPDcYQpFtu

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – TRAVOLTA (Zac Lloyd) It was cruisy trip around. He’s such a pleasure to ride so I’ve still got a bit of breath. Very excited with that one. I didn’t ride him the best last time I sat so it’s good to repay the owners and masterful training by Chris (Waller). I thought he was a bit suspect at 2400m and he’s won at 2600m today, so a good effort.

2nd – ETNA ROSSO (Kerrin McEvoy) He ran great. Very brave. Was able to get a good spot. Thought he was the winner at the furlong. Just got out-bobbed.

3rd – SOUL OF SPAIN (Damian Lane) Good run. Just lacked a bit of clear air when the others were building momentum. Was good late.

4th – MORE FELONS (Tommy Berry) The speed of the race didn’t really help us there. I thought he dashed home pretty quickly. They sped home in 34 and change off the front. He’s heading toward the Cup and will be competitive staying all day.

5th – ASTERIX (Jason Collett) Much improved run. Settled better in a moderately run race. A sprint home but he’s gone well.

6th – DON DIEGO DE VEGA (Dylan Gibbons) Super run. Had to try something from back to try and win the race. Thought he was gallant to the line.

7th – SAM HAWKENS (James McDonald) Gave me a good feel. Would have loved something to follow up.

8th – TRUST IN YOU (Regan Bayliss) Just needed a bit more tempo in a sit and sprint.

9th – WYCLIF (Ethan Brown) I think he jarred up on that going.

10th – SON OF SUN (Tom Sherry) Might need a bit more of a cut out of the track but not good enough today.

Race 3 – Big Dance Wild Card Open Handicap (1600m)

Vivy Air keeps on kicking and holds off Swiftfalcon in the Big Dance Wild Card for @cmaherracing and @Brown_ethan8! 💃🏆@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/gjUie3Rbzw

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – VIVY AIR (Ethan Brown) She’s as honest as the day is long. She was prepared terrifically for today. She lobbed in a lovely spot. I would’ve been filthy if I got beat because I did push the button a bit early, but I think she thrived off of that. She hadn’t hit the front for a long time, it will give her plenty of confidence. She doesn’t quicken very well, so I just made sure I used her fitness and build and we got it right by a centimetre I reckon. That will be great for her confidence, she’s always had the ability but that Big Dance race, she’ll be very well suited for that.

2nd – SWIFTFALCON (Dylan Gibbons) I don’t know what more we can do with him. Great run.

3rd – DUCASSE (Regan Bayliss) Enjoyed a lovely run. Obviously carried 4kg more than he did last year. Was a brave effort.

4th – HOOLIGAN TOMMY (Michael Dee) Good effort. Just had a bit of a checkered run up the straight. Hit the line nicely.

5th – DETONATOR JACK (Declan Bates) He has run a nice race. Just lacked a turn of foot when he needed it. Ground away nicely to the line.

6th – MAGNATEAR (Ashley Morgan) We got across and got control. Gave a good kick. Plain the last part.

7th – MAWJOOD (Rachel King) Happy enough with his run. I think just maybe the quick back up might have impacted.

8th – REDSTONE WELL (Tom Sherry) Ran really well. Just up in distance.

9th – MAJOR BEEL (Tim Clark) Honest enough effort first up. Will appreciate further.

10th – SCARLET OAK (Zac Lloyd) She tried. Probably looking for a softer deck and further would help.

11th – STRAIT ACER (Andrew Adkins) Just missed the start a little bit. Got into a really good rhythm. Would have liked to find the line a little better than he did.

12th – GREBENI (Kerrin McEvoy) Just had to settle too far back from that draw.

13th – LOCH EAGLE (Benjamin Osmond (a2)) Just run off his feet today. On the dry track he’s crying out for wet ground.

Race 4 – Group 3 Angst Stakes (1600m)

What a tough win to Idle Flyer in the G3 Angst Stakes! 😮 @ZacLloydx a winning double 👏@mcsmithracing@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/248nzq3QTr

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – IDLE FLYER (Zac Lloyd) She is so good. She’s just rising and rising. I didn’t mind being three-wide because she can hit a flat spot around about the 600m. By being three-deep I was able just to increase before she hit that flat spot and once I was that close to Perfumist I thought they’re not going to be stronger than her. It was a very good win. She’s one that you don’t want to be giving a message to and then have to get into a spot, you have to be smooth with her. I wasn’t actually too upset (with the barrier draw), Rosehill maybe a different story but Randwick is such a fair track, long back straight, she was able to get into a good rhythm and trust her ability.

2nd – PERFUMIST (Regan Bayliss) Terrific performance from her. Beat the winner last time. Winner pretty good today.

3rd – POLYMNIA (Dylan Gibbons) Fantastic run. Followed the winner everywhere and the winner was just too good today.

4th – VERONA ROSE (Jason Collett) She was a good run today. Finished off well.

5th – CHURCHILL’S CHOICE (Ashley Morgan) Horse is flying. Didn’t have anything to take me into the race. Last furlong through the line was terrific. Up in trip will be winning.

6th – SWELTERING (Damian Lane) Good run just looking for further now.

7th – SHOHISHA (Anna Roper (a)) Got too far back from the gate. Finished off really well.

8th – SUNSHINE LAW (Tom Sherry) Didn’t disgrace herself. Will be better back in trip to 1400m.

9th – DOMINETTA (Tim Clark) She had a nice run no excuses. A little bit one paced up the straight.

10th – ASGARDA (Molly Bourke (a)) She had a tough run. Was honest and fought hard.

11th – LET’S FLY (Michael Dee) Probably not good enough at this level today.

12th – JUST FEELIN’ LUCKY (Tommy Berry) Might have come to the end of her prep.

13th – ABERLOUR (Alysha Collett) She went far too fierce. Just going to go for a break and will come back bigger and stronger.

Race 5 – The Kosciuszko (1200m)

Crystal clear from Clear Thinking in The Kosciuszko as she sails to victory! ✌️@Paulmessara@LGavranich@G1TySchil@ArrowfieldStud@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/6df5aYEks1

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – CLEAR THINKING (Tyler Schiller) Such a lovely progressive mare. The Messara team and Leah have done a great job there, so I can’t take too much credit. Had a great run in transit from the bad draw and she dashed when she needed to. She was probably more brave than me, I pointed her in the right direction and the speed was really genuine which helped. I tracked up to the corner and just ran into a bit of dead ends but to her credit she’s got a great turn of foot so she didn’t need room down the outside. Paul said she can lay in under pressure but she didn’t get a chance to today. She has just dashed through and hit the front and put them away nicely.

2nd – GALLANT STAR (Zac Lloyd) He went enormous. Great training effort by Brett (Robb) to get him here first-up. Gee he tries hard. He was fighting back late. He is a lovely horse.

3rd – CHIDIAC (Jason Collett) Far better run today. Hit the front at the furlong. Winner was pretty good.

4th – LISZTOMANIA (Kerrin McEvoy) He ran fantastic. He is in great form. Finished with a great finish. Credit to the team.

5th – SO YOU PENCE (Ashley Morgan) She ran great in that class of race. Matt (dale) had her spot on today.

6th – FRONT PAGE (Tim Clark) I thought he was really brave in defeat.

7th – BOSTON ROCKS (Tommy Berry) Just got held up when we needed to move into the race. Finished off well. A very honest horse and ran up to his efforts.

8th – MELODY AGAIN (Christian Reith) She ran well. I just felt 1200m is too short for her now. Will take great improvement off that run.

9th – GOLDEN DECADE (Michael Dee) Track if firming up now. Appreciate getting is toe in.

10th – WITHOUT PARALLEL (Craig Williams) In that top competitive race she acquitted herself really well from the draw.

11th – SO MAGNIFICENT (Billy Owen) Felt the pinch late.

12th – BANDI’S BOY (Zac Purton) Out of control.

13th – HIGHWAY STRIP (Chad Schofield) He has had a long prep. Raced flat.

14th – COMPELLING TRUTH (Adam Hyeronimus) That is not him. I’m sure he’ll have a spell now and be back better next prep.

Race 6 – Group 3 Sydney Stakes (1200m)

Rothfire fires up the G3 Sydney Stakes – and that’s a win to @zpurton in the race before the TAB Everest…🔥@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/wSAH60Bmsz

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – ROTHFIRE (Zac Purton) He’s an old horse. He is what he is, but he tries his heart out. I got lucky I think. There was always a bit of speed in the race, I was hoping it would split and open up, which it did. I was lucky to get a trail and obviously it worked out well.

2nd – IOWNA MERC (Ashley Morgan) He was fantastic. I thought we quickened well enough to win the race. Rothfire was very tough full credit to him. My lad is a superstar who deserves to win a big prize.

3rd – WITH YOUR BLESSING (Alysha Collett) Extremely brave. That barrier with no cover took a bit of a toll late but a super run by him.

4th – LIBERTAD (Craig Williams) Annabel and Rob (Archibald) has done a great job first-up. Very admirable not beaten too far.

5th – CABALLUS (Tommy Berry) Probably not the only person to say it but if he draws a gate he probably goes close to winning. We had to take our medicine at the start and he just ran out of gas in the last 100m as he was entitled to after a long layoff.

6th – COAL CRUSHER (Tyler Schiller) Very brave run. Run them into the ground which he loves to do. Just got a bit tired late. Cherry ripe for The Hunter.

7th – GENEROSITY (James McDonald) She was OK. Probably entitled to do a little bit more.

8th – OSTRAKA (Chad Schofield) He ran well. We had a perfect trip and it all opened up on the inside where I went. With Your Blessing has just rolled in but I wasn’t going well enough to take that gap at that time. Has run well.

9th – DISNECK (Dylan Gibbons) Went as good as he could. Had a little bit of traffic early in the straight. Ran courageously.

10th – FIRE STAR (Michael Dee) Didn’t step that well from the gates. Last 600m was great. Hit the line well.

11th – GOLDEN MILE (Adam Hyeronimus) He will improve from the first-up run at the races today.

12th – SANDPAPER (Jason Collett) Just too short. Further he’ll be fine.

13th – SHA OF GOMER (Anthony Allen) Really happy with him. Having that run under his belt was what we needed. Finished off well ready for 1400m.

14th – DRAGONSTONE (Joshua Parr) He will improve with that under his belt.

15th – BEAUTY CHARGE (Kerrin McEvoy) Played up in the gates.

16th – SHEZANALISTER (Rachel King) Had to go back from a wide gate. She didn’t enjoy doing that.

Race 7 – Group 1 The Everest (1200m)

A legend is created! 🙌

Ka Ying Rising wins racing’s ultimate climb – the TAB Everest, and cements himself as the absolute best, giving a sold-out Randwick crowd absolute chills! 🏔️@zpurton@aus_turf_club@tabcomau@HKJC_Racing@WorldPool@WHRpic.twitter.com/TBBC7o2lyP

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – KA YING RISING (Zac Purton) He had a beautiful run in the race. Ethan (Brown on Jimmysstar) was trying to sneak up on my outside but we just had to make sure we had the room which was pretty easy because we had the room which was pretty easy because of the pace of the race. Overpass skipped for him early and I had to chase him. To my horse’s credit, he wasn’t letting him go. He got the better of me in the trial and we said that he’s not going to get the better of me in the race. We chased him down and coasted to the line. I don’t think we saw him at his best today but even though he wasn’t at his best he’s still good enough. You become a bit emotional. You appreciate it more now because it is nearly over (Zac’s career) but I’m so lucky. I’ve had such a good career and so lucky to have this horse come along now. It is a great way to close it when I do close it.

2nd – TEMPTED (Craig Williams) The winner is a superstar. My horse is a future mega-superstar. She was great. Credit to Ciaron Maher, the ownership group to come to a race like this. Definitely didn’t disappoint and will benefit from this run again.

3rd – JIMMYSSTAR (Ethan Brown) Unreal. He ran out of his skin. A kinder gate would have done us a lot of favours. Good to see him closer. He gave his all. So proud of him.

4th – OVERPASS (Joshua Parr) He showed what he is capable of. He is a high speed horse, gave a turn of foot today that I think was the best of his career. Fought it out to the shadows of the post. Obviously winner too good but very proud of my horse.

5th – JOLIESTAR (James McDonald) She was pretty good. I was happy with the run we had midfield and travelled up beautifully. I thought she was the winner at the 500m. She was just smoking. Just lost her action into the dip and for 50m out of the dip and then she got going. Never lost ground and never gained ground.

6th – ANGEL CAPITAL (Ben Melham) Was a terrific performance. Just the 1400m back to 1200m when they sprinted, they just left him a little bit. He kept coming all the way to the line. It took him until the line to really hit his straps. Gallant performance. Horse is going really well.

7th – LADY SHENANDOAH (Damian Lane) She ran super. At the 600m she didn’t take the corner that well. Clipped Jimmysstar’s heel on the outside. Just blundered at a vital stage of the race. Did well to pick up and finish the way she did.

8th – BRIASA (Tyler Schiller) I thought he has done a great job from back in the field. He didn’t anticipate the start as he has been the last two. Just ended up a long way back. I thought he got the right cart into the race. Joliestar took us everywhere. He just couldn’t finish off from back there.

9th – MAZU (Jason Collett) He was brave. Took up the running there until late. Pretty good.

10th – WAR MACHINE (Tim Clark) I was hoping to settle a pair closer than I did. He travelled well but just when the pressure went on, they left him a bit flat footed.

11th – JEDIBEEL (Kerrin McEvoy) He has run fantastic. Had to switch back to the inside. Was closest on the line. Ran a great race.

12th – MAGIC TIME (Michael Dee) She has quickened up really well. Just had to run impossible sectionals to be closer in the finish. She ran great.

Race 8 – Group 3 Silver Eagle (1300m)

Linebacker blows them away in the G3 Silver Eagle as the Golden one beckons! 🦅@ZacLloydx@JohnOSheaRacing@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/FIPhBLE5TO

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – LINEBACKER (Zac Lloyd) He is so nice to ride. I just tried to keep it smooth and trust that I was on the best horse. I actually got a lovely run, considering he was three deep they weren’t going fast. I had cover off the horse in front of me because he was a bit off the fence. He put that field away so quickly and there is still so much more to come with him. I am so excited. I think me and him get along really well, similar mentalities. But he knows how to get the job done and he’s a serious race horse.

2nd – LORD PENMAN (James McDonald) Super run. Building nicely.

3rd – MAYFAIR (Joshua Parr) Great performance. It was quite a rough race. We raced really tight. But he was brave to keep sticking his head through there and perform well.

4th – SHANGRI LA SPRING (Adam Hyeronimus) He has gone really well. Ready for a peak performance third-up.

5th – POINT AND SHOOT (Rachel King) Really pleased with his run. Hopefully gets him back on track and gives him confidence.

6th – SABAJ (Damian Lane) Lap full of horse, nowhere to go.

7th – SNOW IN MAY (Dylan Gibbons) Gutsy effort. She was off the track the whole way. Loved her fight.

8th – DEPTH OF CHARACTER (Jason Collett) Very unlucky. Didn’t have a lot of room there in the straight. Had plenty of horse too.

9th – GERRINGONG (Tim Clark) He didn’t step great. It put her in an awkward position thereafter.

10th – SPICY MARTINI (Craig Williams) Against that type of calibre horse, and the work we had to do from the barrier draw, the run was understandable.

11th – HARLEM QUEEN (Tommy Berry) She is going great. When she gets to the right distance she will be well recognised. At the moment, a bit too sharp for her.

12th – IMPERIAL FORCE (Zac Purton) He was a little bit aggressive in the run.

13th – RAIKKONEN (Chad Schofield) He was plain. Travelled well with cover but found nothing.

Race 9 – Group 1 King Charles III Stakes (1600m)

Ceolwulf rules the kingdom once more and goes back-to-back in the G1 King Charles III Stakes! 🙌 👑@SchofieldChad@PrideRacing@aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/FzuZKbDWrn

— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) October 18, 2025

1st – CEOLWULF (Chad Schofield) They actually went very slowly for the first two furlongs. I actually said to Josh (Parr) on Pericles on my outside ‘go on Jenni, put some pace on.’ I was just back, relaxed, off the bridle in a great rhythm. When I clicked him up around the 600m to get interested he just came straight underneath me and I thought we are on today. He’s a great miler, three of his best wins have been here over a mile. But I can’t keep forgetting the fact that he’s run second in the Derby over 2400m on a heavy track, so we know he’s got the stamina too. He’s just a great horse when he’s right and he’s got options.

2nd – MR BRIGHTSIDE (Craig Williams) It’s a shame he was dealt a really hard barrier draw. He had a tough, difficult run. It shows the calibre of horse that he is that he still fought it out to run second. Another very brave performance from Mr B.

3rd – PIER (Ethan Brown) Ran out of his skin. He is a good horse. I think up to 2000m it will really suit him.

4th – PERICLES (Joshua Parr) He is not the type of horse who wants to be getting into a fight with others 400m from home. That happened today. Probably my fault.

5th – TOM KITTEN (Ben Melham) It was a good return to form. He has had a messy start to his prep. I thought he ran well near his best. Just looking for a bit further now.

6th – FANGIRL (James McDonald) She has run really well. Just so hard to make up ground.

7th – PRIDE OF JENNI (Declan Bates) She took a while to build underneath me. It was a long way out to try and stretch them. She just didn’t quite pick up as well as she can. Maybe a touch below par.

8th – YELLOW BRICK (Jason Collett) He has run really good. Gave them a big start. He was keen early. Finished strong.

9th – WITHIN THE LAW (Rachel King) Huge run. It was a big ask putting a 3yo against these seasoned horses. She certainly didn’t disgrace herself. She is going super.

10th – EL CASTELLO (Adam Hyeronimus) I thought his run was respectable. Pretty strong in the blinkers. If they can come off over 2000m I think he can execute.

11th – ROYAL PATRONAGE (Tim Clark) He jumped and travelled well. Just didn’t have a horse from the 600m.

12th – LAKE FOREST (Zac Purton) A bit disappointing. He didn’t like the speed of the race. When they quickened he was just empty.
