MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — There are some changes coming to how you can access NBC 15 if you are watching us “over-the-air.”
Effective Monday October 20, this change will impact only those viewers getting the NBC 15 signal using an antenna. If you are one of those viewers, here’s what you need to do:
NBC will be moving from over-the-air signal WPMI 15.1 to WEAR 3.2. In order to make the channel adjustment, you will need to perform a TV channel rescan. It’s an easy process. You just need to access the menu or set up button on your TV remote. Then you will go to “channel” or “tuning settings” where you will need to click on “auto scan” or “channel search.” WEAR 3.2 will then be locked in and you will be able to enjoy NBC 15 news and programming. The rescan needs to be performed on Monday October 20.
Again, this action must be taken only by viewers using an antenna. There is no additional action that needs to take place if you subscribe to Cable, YouTube TV, Hulu Live, or Satellite as there will be no change to where you can find NBC 15.
