The unlikely romance between a sex podcaster and a rabbi will continue to unfold when “Nobody Wants This” Season 2 premieres this week.

The Netflix comedy series stars Kristen Bell as Joanne and Adam Brody as Noah. In Season 1, the pair forged an improbable connection despite their different religious backgrounds.

The new season will follow the couple’s commitment to merging their lives together as they navigate their differences, according to a synopsis from Netflix.

The show is based on the real-life love story of Erin Foster, one of the show’s co-writers, and her husband Simon Tikhman. Foster’s sister, Sara Foster, is also an executive producer for the show.

When does ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2 come out?

Season 2 of “Nobody Wants This,” which has ten episodes, will be released on Thursday, Oct. 23.

According to Netflix, the episodes will be available to watch in the United States beginning at 3 a.m. EST.

Season 1 ended with Joanne and Noah sharing an impassioned kiss, a sign that the former’s uncertainty about converting to Judaism isn’t a total dealbreaker for the rabbi.

In Season 2, the couple will figure out what it will look like to stay together despite their religious differences and family opposition, according to a synopsis from Netflix.

‘Nobody Wants This’ cast

In addition to Bell and Brody as the show’s starring roles, Justine Lupe plays Joanne’s sister Morgan, and Timothy Simons plays Noah’s brother, Sasha. Jackie Tohn plays Esther, Sasha’s wife.

Among others, they are also joined by Paul Ben-Victor and Tovah Feldshuh, who play Noah’s parents, Ilan and Bina, respectively.

Brody’s wife, Leighton Meester, is also set to appear on Season 2.
