Blake Lively’s super-rare photo suggests she may be in her unbothered era amid the legal battles with Justin Baldoni and the reported fallout from her friendship with ex-bestie Taylor Swift.

In the Instagram Stories snapshot taken by her husband Ryan Reynolds, and obtained by DailyMail, we can see her having a boat day, showing out her friend, Sam Macsai, saying, “[She’s been] influencing me and everyone I know to be obsessed with @leftonfriday bathing suits and workout clothes. This is not an ad. I’ve legitimately never had a better fit of either. Started by two women. Love love love. Also shout out to my pretty necklaces by more female bosses @thatch.jewelry & @jenmeyerjewelry.”

If you need a recap on the It Ends With Us legal drama, we totally understand. There were rumors of a rift between Lively and her co-star Baldoni from the start. However, it all hit the fan when Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign in a civil suit back in Dec 2024, which The New York Times wrote about.

Days later, Baldoni filed a libel suit against The New York Times, and the following month, he filed a civil suit against Lively and her husband for defamation. After this, there were multiple civil suits in place, and one of them brought Swift into the drama. Then, multiple of the suits were dismissed, and on June 9, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Baldoni’s entire suit, but Lively’s original complaint is going to trial next year.

Then, after Swift was drawn into the drama, rumors of a rift between her and Lively emerged, and it was seemingly confirmed when Lively didn’t congratulate Swift on her engagement to Kelce.
