Do you want to be the very best like no one ever was? Then you need to make plans for the Pokémon GO City Safari coming to Vancouver on Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28.
Thousands of trainers from across Metro Vancouver are expected to take part in the city-wide event, with themed encounters, real-world activities, and in-game activations.
The Pokémon GO City Safari also marks the first time that the developer Niantic is hosting the worldwide event in Canada.

“Whether you’re a resident of Vancouver or a first-time visitor, your Pokémon GO City Safari will take you across the city in an all-new way,” the event description reads online.
“From historic landmarks to local favourites, get ready for a taste of the city with Pokémon GO by your side.”
The popular augmented reality (AR) mobile game was released in 2016 and instantly won over Pokémon fans around Vancouver and across the globe.
Gamers were glued to their cellphones as they attempted to capture Mewtwos, Drowzees, and even the occasional Rhydon. Pokémon GO still has an active player base of millions daily.

Vancouver’s Pokémon GO City Safari will also feature the North American debut of GO Stamp Rally, which will see players explore the city’s landmarks and locations to collect in-game stamps.
Other highlights for participating trainers include encountering Eevee wearing an explorer hat, a chance to encounter Mudbray, the Donkey Pokémon, and several in-game bonuses and rewards between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on your ticketed day, anywhere within the City Safari location.
