Tycoon Games will release Everdell Silverfrost, a new Everdell game, in Collectors and Essentials Editions. Silverfrost is the country to the south of Everdell valley, beyond snow-capped Spirecrest mountains.  In Silverfrost, players must build and maintain a city by clearing snow, burning fires to keep the citizens warm, and complete quests for the Ranger’s Guild. 

Everdell Silverfrost is designed by James & Clarissa A. Wilson, with art by Lukas Siegmon. The solo version is designed by Chrissy and Tom Peske.

Everdell Silverfrost Collectors Edition will include 1 Game Board, 1 Mountain Board, 123 Main Deck Cards, 27 Big Critter Cards, 28 Lowland Quest Cards, 14 Highland Quest Cards, 24 Snowstorm Cards, 8 Map Cards, 20 Scheme Cards, 4 Reference Cards, 1 Winter’s Fury Tile, 1 Scoring Tile, 24 Worker Critter Meeples (6 Red Pandas, 6 Penguins, 6 Falcons, 6 Hares), 4 Ranger Snowshoes, 8 Plastic Chimneys, 24 Plastic Fire, 24 Wooden “Birch” Tokens, 24 Cloth Moss, 24 Plastic “Coppers”, 24 Plastic Acorns, 32 Metal Point Tokens, Punchboard Snow and Paws Tokens, and Rulebook.  MSRP is $100.
Everdell Silverfrost Essentials Edition is basically the same as the Collectors Edition, except that it has punchboard resource components instead of resin. MSRP is $50.

Tycoon is also offering three additional Silverfrost products. Deluxe Resource Vessels are suitable for holding sturdy birch, soft moss, metallic copper, warm fire, smooth acorns and shiny metal point tokens.  MSRP is $45.

Everdell Silverfrost Wooden Mountain is an upgrade from cardboard to wood for the Mountain.  MSRP is $40.

Everdell Silverfrost Essentials Edition Upgrade Pack includes resin resource tokens to match the components in the Collector’s Edition. 

Release date for the Everdell Silverfrost range is December 5.

Silverfrost is an example of the Tycoon Games sequel strategy, which concentrates on new standalone games in the world of a franchise, rather than expansions (see “ICv2 Interview: Dan Yarrington”).
