Recently, during an interview, Imran said that money and stardom are not the reasons for his return to films.

Imran Khan’s last film was ‘Katti Batti’, released in 2015, in which he worked with Kangana Ranaut. After this, Imran distanced himself from films, and now, after almost 10 years, he is returning with director Danish Aslam’s new film. It will be a romantic comedy, with Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role alongside Imran. Imran has previously worked with Danish Aslam in the film ‘Break Ke Baad’.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Imran Khan said that he is not making a comeback for money nor for stardom. His aim is to further his art and connect with the audience. Acting is a passion for him, from which he never wanted to stay away. He also said that more important than getting work in the film industry is to achieve success through skill and hard work, which he wants to prove on this occasion.

Imran Khan started his film career with ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, which made him a star among the youth. Many of his films saw ups and downs, but his acting ability was always appreciated. After this, he stayed away from films for a few years, which included spending time with family life and his child. Now, satisfied with his personal life, he wants to focus on his career again.
