MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) –
You’ve downloaded the First Alert Weather App! Welcome.
In order to get the best out of the app, you’ll need to set it up.
Tap on the map. You see the radar. But there are many different features to take advantage of here.
Look off to the right. You have 4 different boxes for 4 different overlays. Here we have current radar, the futurecast, cloud cover, and current lightning strikes.
Click on the 3 dots below and browse through the options, tapping on overlays. There’s a temperature feature. Now tap and hold on to the temperature icon and drag it into the box you’d like to replace.
The First Alert Weather App can be used for weather across the country, even internationally!
You’ll also want to have the alerts feature turned on, especially the tornado/severe alerts heading into severe weather season.
The First Alert Weather App also features local forecast videos with insights from the First Alert Weather Team, to help you understand all the confusing information your typical weather app is trying to tell you.
