As fans of Ariana, 32, know, she has been primarily focused on her acting career in the past few years as music has taken a backseat.
Despite committing to her roles as Glinda and also in an upcoming Meet the Fockers sequel, she wanted to give her fans a treat by going on a mini tour next summer.
However, the Florida native has now made it clear that if fans want to see her perform live in the near future, this tour will be their last chance.
“The last 10 or 15 years were very different than the ones that are coming up. And I don’t want to say definitively… I do know I’m very excited for this small tour.

“But I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long time. I’m going to give it my all. And it’s going to be beautiful and I’m so grateful.
“But that’s why I’m doing it. I’m like, one last hurrah. For now,” Ariana told Amy on the podcast.
“Never say never,” Amy added, to which Ariana agreed.
The SNL alum then explained: “When you’re able to step away from acting or music or writing, you really appreciate it when you get to go back.”
“So much more,” Ariana interrupted before explaining, “You do better by that art form because you’re appreciative and able to fill present in it.”
In response to Ariana’s comments, many said that they took it as an unofficial “retirement announcement.”
“Catch her now or cry forever, basically,” an X user wrote wile another added, “oh she’s done with the stage.”
“So basically… this is the ‘don’t ask me for another tour’ warning,” another quipped.
“Oh yeah she’s definitely finna pull a Rihanna! Happy for her tbh, she probably tired of doing the same s**t,” a fan said, noting how Rihanna has taken a years-long break from the music industry.
While one more reflected: “This feels like a tender reminder to cherish rare moments, because when someone says it may not happen again for a long time, it shows how precious the season is and how much heart is poured into it.”
However, other fans snapped back that if Ariana knew this was going to be her final tour for a long time, she should have “made more of an effort” to making it bigger and in more parts of the world.
THANK U, NEXT
“Girl i love you but why not do a proper tour that all of the fans can attend and not only the ones from uk & us,” one person asked.
“This is such a slap in the face to her fans from all over the world that aren’t in the US,” on more furiously insisted.
“I’d rather wait 5 more years for a PROPER tour than this. and idc if i get hate for this i’ve been a fan for 10 years and she pays international fans nothing but dust,” another fired off.
Ariana’s Eternal Sunshine Tour kicks off in Oakland, California on June 6th, 2025.
The brief tour sees her go to Los Angeles, Texas, Florida, Georgia, New York, Illinois, and Massachusetts.
She also has select dates in Montreal, Canada, and UK stops in London.
