“1000-lb Sisters” fans have been watching Tammy and Amy Slaton’s journey for years, but is the TLC reality series coming to an end?
The “1000-lb Sisters” season 7 finale aired in June, and season 8 has not yet been confirmed. While many viewers have speculated that the show is getting canceled, there have been several reported sightings of the cast filming season 8.
One Reddit user recently shared photos of Amy and her new husband, Brian Lovvorn, in New Orleans. The fan claimed that they saw the couple filming “1000-lb Sisters” there in September.
“There was a whole team of cameras and producers [with them],” the Reddit user wrote in the comments section.
On an October Reddit thread discussing the show’s future, two more fans claimed to have insider knowledge of season 8.
“They are filming now, we live about 2hrs from them and they were filming in my town last week,” one person wrote.
“I saw them filming at Amy’s house the other day,” another chimed in.
There’s certainly enough material for another season of “1000-lb Sisters.” Amy and Lovvorn got married this past Halloween and Tammy confirmed her engagement to Andrea Dalton in June.
