CBS has announced that the beloved cast of “Everybody Loves Raymond” is reuniting for a special upcoming anniversary event celebrating three decades since the show first aired.
Titled “Everybody Loves Raymond: 30th Anniversary Reunion,” the episode is airing at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24 on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+, according to the company’s statement. The show aired from 1996 to 2005.
The 90-minute special will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning actor Ray Romano and series creator Phil Rosenthal and will include cast members Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Monica Horan, Madylin Sweeten and Sullivan Sweeten.
During the episode, cast members and special guests will talk about how they “became one of America’s most beloved families,” while watching never-before-seen outtakes and commentary, Paramount said.
The special will also include a tribute to Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle, who portrayed Marie and Frank Barone in the show.
“Cast, crew and special guests will share heartfelt reflections on how this dynamic duo redefined the roles of interfering mother-in-law and couch-potato dad into lovable pillars of the Barone family,” the statement reads.
Roberts died at 90 years old on Apr. 17, 2016 from natural causes in her sleep. According to CBS, Boyle died on Dec. 12, 2006 when he was 71 years old after a long battle with multiple myeloma and heart disease.
