A severe thunderstorm watch remains in force for Northland, Auckland, Great Barrier Island, Coromandel Peninsula, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Rotorua and Taupō. The storms were expected to include torrential downpours, with up to 40mm of rain falling in an hour, which can lead to slips and flash flooding.A caravan was overturned by a reported tornado in Manawatū, with one injured and three others assessed for injury.Have you been affected by the weather?
