While there are musings of a potential coupling with Cruise and Sydney Sweeney, both he and Armas have kept it lowkey. However, Armas was just seen getting her flirt on with one of Cruise’s pals; and it has the internet talking!
In details and photos obtained by DailyMail, we can see Armas shared a flirty, super-smiley moment with Lewis Hamilton during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. (Hamilton and Cruise have been pals for years after Cruise offered him a role as a fighter pilot in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick.)

For those who don’t know, the pair were first spotted together on Valentine’s Day 2025 by The Daily Mail. By May, sources confirmed their relationship. “It’s low-key, still new and in the early stages,” a source told Us Weekly. “Their romance is definitely on the down low.” (According to the outlet, Cruise’s ex and de Armas’ friend, Penélope Cruz, set them up.)
As of July 29, they made their debut by holding hands on a date day out, per TMZ.
Then, on Oct 16, 2025, it was announced that the pair had split. A source told the Daily Mail that the two “ended up realizing that they should keep it professional. [They] wanted to save the future of their friendship and their movie.”
