AMC’s “The Vampire Lestat“, the third season in the “Interview with the Vampire“ series, is gearing up for a summer tour.

The third season of the Emmy-nominated drama will premiere in Summer 2026, TV Insider reports.

The synopsis reads, “Resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy bestseller Interview with the Vampire, the Vampire Lestat (Sam Reid) sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can—by starting a band and going on tour. Gabriella. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed, and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time, and trauma. No Auto-Tuning. No Trigger Warnings. All Feels Amplified.“

Sheila Atim (The Woman King) has been cast as Akasha in “The Vampire Lestat,“ the character played by Aaliyah in the 2002 movie Queen of the Damned.

Additionally, Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors), Seamus Patterson (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities), and Sarah Swire (The Boys) have joined the series for the third season, based on Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat novel.

Returning players Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Joseph Potter, Justin Kirk, Chris Geary, and Gopal Divan also star in season three.

Rolin Jones is the creator, writer, and showrunner of AMC’s vampire series.

Seasons one and two of “Interview with the Vampire“ are now streaming on AMC+ and Netflix.

It’s only a matter of time before AMC sinks its fangs into a premiere date, so stay tuned.
