Congratulations to our six finalists for the 63rd ISPS Handa Halberg Awards!
It’s been a huge year for Kiwi athletics, and our finalists show just how far our athletes are pushing the sport. From multiple world champions and world records to rewriting the history books, it’s been a 2026 to remember.

Hamish Kerr – ISPS Handa Sportsman of the Year.
Geordie Beamish – ISPS Handa Sportsman of the Year.
Danielle Aitchison – ISPS Handa Para Athlete of the Year.
Lisa Adams – ISPS Handa Para Athlete of the Year.
Sam Ruthe – Sky Sport Emerging Talent Award.
James Sandilands – Buddle Findlay Coach of the Year.

The winners will be revealed on the 16th February 2026 at the 63rd ISPS Halberg Awards.
