Dynasty icon Linda Evans, 83, shared a passionate message of peace and gratitude for the holiday season.

The actress, best known for her role as Krystle Carrington on the iconic 1980s primetime soap, which she played from 1981 to 1989, is thriving in her eighties. Still an iconic blonde, the legendary stunner shared a heartfelt message in honor of the Christmas holiday while sitting next to her stunning Christmas tree. Dressed in a beautiful red blouse, Evans encouraged fans and followers to seek peace during this time of upheaval in the world.

“Peace, love, and joy are some of the most profound gifts Christmas offers us. Never before in history has the entire world been in such chaos and uncertainty. My wish for all of us is that we embrace these gifts,” Evans said to the camera. “May all that is beautiful, meaningful, and brings you joy be yours this holiday season. From my heart to yours, Merry Christmas, with so much love.”

Evans Recently Celebrated Her 83rd Birthday

To celebrate her 83rd birthdaylast month, Evans took to Instagram to share a stunning photograph in which she wore a sequined top and black tulle skirt. Perched on a table with her hand under her chin, the legendary actress still sported the iconic blonde hair that made her famous during the ’80s. While Evans looked more stunning than ever, it was her poignant caption that warmed our hearts.

“Eighty-Three — Still in Love with Life. Feeling grateful, glowing, and ready for what’s next.
My heart is full, and my gratitude runs deep. A new shoot, new pictures — and still so much love for this beautiful journey called life,” she wrote. “Thank you all for being such a meaningful part of it.”

Working Alongside Joan Collins

While Evans was famous for brawling onscreen with fellow Dynasty star Joan Collins, who played Alexis Carrington Colby on the beloved show, the star made it clear that things were absolutely peachy between the two behind the scenes.

“We never had one personal fight in the nine years we did the show together,” Evans told Closer Weekly a few years back. “It was just that when the camera rolled, they wrote us to beat each other up.”

Making things look chaotic on the TV screen was also much more complicated than it seemed.

“Fight scenes are tricky because you have dialogue while all this activity is going on,” Evans continued. “But I was comfortable with stunts. Joan loves verbal confrontation, not physical, so it was more challenging for her, but she was a trouper. There were always a lot of laughs because it was so absurd.”

The Iconic Lily Pond Fight Scene

One iconic scene, when the duo ended up rolling around in a lily pond during a brawl, was particularly tough.

“I think the lily pond was the most fun because it was a challenge,” said Evans. “It was only four or five feet deep, so we had to be on our hands and knees to fight each other. It took an entire day to film but we had fun.”

At least it made for some legendary television! For those who need a bit of a refresher on the scene, take a look below.
