Natalie Imbruglia was a staple of MTV and the radio in the ’90s, and it’s safe to say she hasn’t changed a bit!

The Australian pop star, 50, rose to fame in his home country in the role of Beth Brennan in the soap opera Neighbours. But it wasn’t until she released her debut single “Torn” in 1997 that the singer went on to international superstardom. Featured on her debut studio album, Left of the Middle, the song, a cover of a 1995 song by the band Ednaswap, dominated the charts. In total, Imbruglia has released six albums, with 2021’s Firebird as the most recent.

In the present day, Imbruglia looks better than ever. The singer took to social media to share a sweet Christmas post, and she hasn’t changed a bit from her days as an MTV staple. While she’s grown her hair out long again, the pop star is an absolute ageless beauty. Standing alongside a Christmas tree in jeans and a sweater, Imbruglia could pass for a teenager in a new photo shared to her Instagram page.

Merry Christmas from my home away from home @the_berkeley! Thanks to all the wonderful team that look after us so well. 💚,” she captioned the photo, which showed her with outstretched arms. “And… MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of YOU… who have supported me always… may you have a beautiful Christmas and blessings for an amazing 2026! 🙏 ❤️🎄”

The Hottest Singers of Today Love to Cover ‘Torn’

While “Torn” was a ’90s classic, some of the hottest singers of today love to cover the iconic tune. This past summer, Camila Cabello took a seat at the piano to cover the song during the Australian leg of her Yours, C tour, Billboard reminded us.

“when in australia… you have to sing torn,” Cabello captioned a clip of the performance, which she shared to social media.

Cabello isn’t the only one who loves to cover the tune. Back in March, Dua Lipa‘s Australian leg of her 2025 “Radical Optimism” tour featured a performance of the tune. Dressed in a fuzzy white scarf trailing dramatically behind her, she belted out the song and delighted fans.
