ANOTHER big name could be on the way out of the Supercars broadcast landscape, with Jack Perkins appearing to sign off from his Seven Network role.

The race-winning veteran has been a popular figure on TV screens, for his ability to unpack technical and racing elements to give free-to-air viewers a deeper understanding of what’s going on.

Perkins took to social media today to thank Seven for his half-decade on-screen.

“That marks 5 years with @7sportau,” he wrote.

“It’s been an amazing time learning how to do TV and working with some awesome people.

“Often been well out of my comfort zone but really enjoyed the challenge of live tv and hosting tv shows.

“Have to thank Anna Stone and James Warburton for giving me a chance back in 2021 and all of the producers, camera crew, behind the scenes crew etc along the way. Cheers.”

Perkins, who also co-hosts V8 Sleuth’s program The Undercut, is expected to co-drive with Triple Eight/SCT’s Jackson Walls in 2026.

His post comes amid ongoing uncertainty around the broader Supercars television line-up.

Garth Tander and James Courtney are among those anticipated to have increased presences, with the futures of Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife yet to be announced.
