A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition following a crash in central Christchurch.
A St John spokeswoman said emergency services were notified of a motor vehicle incident on Durham Street North and Salisbury Street, Christchurch Central, at 09:20 today.
Two ambulances and one rapid response unit attended.
The vehicle flipped upside down after crashing into another car.

The St John spokeswoman said one patient in a serious condition was transported to Christchurch Hospital.
