The managing director of Datacom’s New Zealand business, Justin Gray, is stepping down after more than five years in the role.
Gray joined Datacom in 2020 as managing director of NZ public sector before being elevated into the overall NZ technology services role six months later.
“Over the past five years, Justin has led the New Zealand business through a period of significant transformation and growth, strengthening customer relationships and championing innovation across the sector,” a spokesperson told Reseller News.
“He has decided the time is right to close this chapter with Datacom. We thank Justin for his leadership and contribution to Datacom and the wider technology community.”
Gray was in charge of managed services and outsourcing, application services including software engineering, business platforms and data and intelligence, experience platforms, advisory services, networks, cyber security and cloud service delivery.
He joined Datacom from Accenture after leading that firm’s NZ business for five years.
Gray would continue to lead the New Zealand team through a transition period and remained focused on supporting Datacom’s people, customers, and partners, the spokesperson said.
Datacom Group reported revenue of $1.48B in the year to 31 March, 2025, and an after tax profit of $37M.
