A low-mileage, 25 anniversary edition 1990 Lamborghini Countach has emerged for sale in New Zealand.
On top of being one of the most recognisable supercars ever produced, this is one of just 67 examples produced in a right-hand drive layout.
As the name suggests, this Countach was sold to celebrate Lamborghini’s 25th birthday, and was launched 1988 at the Monza Grand Prix.
It also represents the final iteration of arguably the most iconic supercar to come out of Italy, only adding to its rich heritage.
As is the case with all Countach models, power comes from a mid-mounted 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine.
This massive engine pumps out a healthy 335kW and 500Nm, which was sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
While these numbers aren’t massive by modern standards, they still provided enough grunt to shove the Countach to 100km/h in just 4.7-seconds.
This particular example is finished in a rich shade of Rosso Siviglia, and has a tan leather interior inside.
Other highlights include the 15-inch OZ Racing wheels, scissor doors, and the iconic pop-up headlights of the era.
