Brooklyn Beckham previously opened up about his relationship with members of the Royal Family as he threw praise on Prince William. The 26-year-old is the eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, with the power couple thought to be long-standing friends with members of the monarchy.
The Manchester United icon was knighted late last year and has attended numerous royal events throughout the years alongside his former Spice Girl wife. In 2024, Brooklyn was asked about his family’s Royal relationships during an appearance on US chat show Watch What Happens Live!.
Speaking to host Andy Cohen, he read out a question from a viewer that wanted to know which members of the monarchy Brooklyn saw the most while growing up.
The question included references to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the talk show host read out: “Growing up, which members of the Royal Family did you see the most often, especially since your family is friends with Harry and Meghan?”

After a slight pause, the Brooklyn admitted that it was Prince William he saw the most and omitted any mention of Harry and Meghan in his response. Brooklyn answered: “Probably William, yeah” to which Andy asked: “What’s he like? Is there something about him that people don’t get? Is he fun?”

Wholly complimentary of the heir apparent, Brooklyn said: “He’s just like the sweetest guy ever. He really is.” He went on to add: “He’s really down to earth. He’s really [a] good guy.”
His parents have attended two royal weddings in recent years, having first been guests at Prince William’s nuptials to Princess Kate at Westminster Abbey 2011. They then attended Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding at George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in 2018.

The Beckham’s have been embroiled in a family feud that reached its tipping point this week when Brooklyn hit out at his parents in a bombshell social media post. The eldest son had missed several family events last year, including his dad’s 50th birthday and his knighthood ceremony.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Brooklyn spoke out for the first time about the rift with his family as he insisted he has no plans to reconcile with them after claiming his parents have tried ruining his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
A portion of Brooklyn’s post reads: “Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.

“Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer … My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else.
“Brand Beckham comes first. Family “love” is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”
The Inter Miami co-owner ignored a question about his son’s statement during his appearance at the Davos World Economic Forum in Switzerland on Monday night.
