According to a tipster on Weibo, Honor is planning big changes to its foldable lineup. According to their report, the Magic Vs series might be completely replaced with a new foldable.

That’s Not to be mistaken with the main Magic V lineup, which will get its next installment next month. Sadly, the source claims the V Flip successor is not coming in 2026.

Honor is also working on a wide foldable to compete with Samsung and Apple

In any case, Honor is reportedly working on a new, wider foldable. Judging by the most recent leaks about the upcoming iPhone Fold, the Oppo Find N7 and the rumored Samsung “Wide Fold” (not an official name), it’s probably safe to assume that the handset will feature a 4:3 display, which is going to be the hot new thing in 2026.

A 4:3 aspect ratio will make the device notably wider than the current Magic Vs3, but in contrast to what Samsung is likely planning to do, Honor is replacing its more affordable Magic Vs foldable lineup. Apple plans on using that for its only foldable, while Samsung might use it for its more premium Z Fold model, slotting between the Z Fold8 and the Z TriFold.
