Cara Delevingne debuted a new brunette look

Her new darker locks were also cut into a shaggy hairstyle with bangs

Cara Delevingne has officially ditched her blonde locks.

The model, 33, walked the red carpet at the Wuthering Heights premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 28 with a noticeably darker hairstyle, but it wasn’t until she showed up at the Warner Music Group Pre-Grammy Awards Party the next day that people really got the full scope of her new look.

On the red carpet, Delevingne showed off her brunette hair, cut into a shaggy style with bangs.

On Feb. 1, Delevingne posted more photos of her new ‘do to Instagram. She revealed in the carousel caption that hair pro Mara Roszak had done the cut, while fellow pro Laci Matteson was responsible for the new color. The Carnival Row actress simple wrote, “new hair,” alongside the credits.

Matteson also shared the photos to Instagram, calling the color a “yummy brunette.”

At the Wuthering Heights premiere, where Delevingne’s hair was slicked back into a bun, she also wore a purple and black corseted midi-length dress. She accessorized with glittery black opera gloves, black heels and gothic-inspired jewels.

Her look at the Grammys party was decidedly more low-key. She opted for an oversize blue-gray pinstripe suit with a purple button-up shirt and brown striped tie. She matched all her accessories — her bag, belt and heels — in a deep red tone.

Delevingne’s hair was the star of the look, styled in soft waves to show off the new cut.

Late last year, Delevingne used her platform to speak out against gender-based violence. She told PEOPLE about developing confidence in protecting herself and others from harmful situations.

Delevingne’s confidence in tough situations, she shared, stems from her childhood. “I just didn’t feel like because I was smaller or a woman that I couldn’t stand up to [guys],” she said. Once in the spotlight, her need to be alert in tense situations only grew.

“As I got older, especially with paparazzi who can very much push boundaries and come into your personal space or grab you, it became about having foresight,” Delevingne shared of how she handles stressful situations. “It’s [also] just about remaining calm, which I think is really important.”
