A previously unheard recording by Ozzy Osbourne has been discovered in an attic more than four decades after it was first made.

The tape, believed to date back around 46 years, was found during a clear-out and is thought to feature early material from the Black Sabbath frontman, whose career helped define heavy metal before he went on to achieve huge solo success.

Osbourne, who also became a household name through the reality TV series The Osbournes, died last year aged 76.

The discovery has excited fans, offering a fresh glimpse into the work of one of rock music’s most influential figures.
