Thadayam – ZEE5 (February 27)
This Tamil true-crime series revisits a series of shocking murders that took place along the Tamil Nadu–Andhra Pradesh border in 1999. Directed by Navinkumar Palanivel, the show follows Sub-Inspector Adhiyaman, played by Samuthirakani, as he investigates a disturbing pattern of midnight killings.
What makes the case even more chilling is a strange detail: in every murder, the victim’s sacred marital symbol is missing. As fear spreads across villages and rumours begin to take over, Adhiyaman, along with Inspector Lakshmi (Sshivada), must separate superstition from fact.
Secret Stories: Roslin – JioHotstar (February 27)
This Malayalam drama thriller centres on Roslin, also known as Rose, a young girl troubled by recurring visions of a mysterious green-eyed man. Her parents dismiss her fears as imagination influenced by the books she reads and even suggest counselling.
However, things take a darker turn when a man with striking green eyes enters her life as a house guest. Directed by Sumesh Nandakumar and backed by showrunner Jeethu Joseph, the series explores whether Roslin’s fears are psychological or something far more sinister. The story slowly builds suspense as it questions the line between dreams and reality.
Sri Chidambaram Garu – ETVWin (February 26)
This Telugu movie tells the story of a young man burdened by shame and identity issues. Hiding behind a borrowed name and unresolved guilt, he struggles to accept himself.Over time, through emotional setbacks and moments of courage, he begins to confront his truth. The film focuses on personal growth and self-acceptance.
D/O Prasad Rao Kanabadutaledhu – ZEE5 (February 27)
This suspense thriller revolves around a father’s desperate attempt to find his missing daughter. As he searches for answers, hidden secrets and betrayals begin to surface.
The series explores how a seemingly normal family can hide dark truths beneath the surface. With every revelation, the emotional and psychological stakes rise, keeping viewers engaged till the end.
Theatre – The Myth of Reality – ManoramaMAX (Streaming Now)
Starring Rima Kallingal in the lead, this Malayalam action drama blends folklore with contemporary themes. Directed by Sajin Baabu, the film looks at female agency and the fading mystical traditions of Kerala.
The narrative moves between myth and reality, presenting a rooted cultural backdrop while addressing deeper social questions.
Honey – Sun NXT (February 27)
This Telugu psychological horror focuses on a troubled family drawn into occult practices. When an unemployed man becomes obsessed with tantric rituals, his wife and daughter are pulled into a disturbing spiral of paranoia and fear.
As their daughter begins communicating with a mysterious entity named “Honey,” the story shifts between supernatural suggestion and human madness. The film suggests that the real horror may lie within the family itself.
