The death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been widely talked about in the past few days. And a video from Delhi has unexpectedly captured widespread attention online, however, it does not have anything to do the leader’s death. The viral clip shows a vendor at a mobile accessories shop in Mustafabad selling customised phone covers featuring the Iranian leader’s picture.
In the viral video, a customer walks into the shop and asks the vendor to place Khamenei’s photo on a mobile cover. The shopkeeper then pulls out a printed cover and places it on the smartphone.
Meanwhile, the shop has issued a clarification stating that the clip was posted only to demonstrate the store’s customised product services and that the shop’s intention was not to offend anyone’s sentiments.
“Iske jaga apne father Saab k pic lagao toh acha lagega,” a user reacted.
